Hey ya'll! It's back to New Hampshire for me tomorrow. We've had a great visit in Texas but I'm looking forward to sleeping in my bed, putting away all the Christmas decor, and unpacking all our bags!
I'm not one to make resolutions because I feel that if you want to make a change, you can do so anytime. But I tend to reevaluation what is going on in my life this time of year and I guess I'll share my focus.
- Be a more consistent blogger. Ok, I wish I could blog something remarkable everyday. The few blogs that I do read everyday I am just floored by their ability to do so. With me being in school I don't honestly think I can blog everyday but I'm going to try to do 3-4 a week. Earlier this year, I let the blog go off the wagon due to stress. The blog became a "have to" instead of "want to". So in order to keep my posts honest, full, and timely I am giving myself the more flexible option.
- Be more organized. I have been pinning like crazy ways to organize your home. I love this pin on how to do a weekly toy rotation. We had toys coming out the wazzoo so this will be one of the first things I do.
- Get dressed. This is not really how it sounds. I want to start getting dressed UP! I'm applying for Grad school and hopefully will begin my practice experience next fall so I need to get my closet in gear for the switching from Mama dud's to professional. I signed up for StitchFix after reading about it on pbfingers.com and talking to my sister in law, so I excited to get my first box this month. I even made a pinboard on Pinterest to get ideas.
- Spend more time having fun with my kids. With my pending Grad school stint coming up, I'm feeling more pressure to "fit it all in". I keep reminding myself that I need to take a deep breath and enjoy the little things. The littles have just gotten to the age where we can sit down and play board games. They love it and I love it…my OCD doesn't love it, but here's where taking a deep breath comes in!
