Disney on ice in Boston!

We decided to treat the littles to a little kid fun!  We surprised them with a trip to Boston to see Disney on ice.  This particular show was the Worlds of Fantasy.

After arriving quite early, hey Boston traffic can be a B!  We treated them to some hot chocolate and ourselves some coffee from Starbucks. It was warm and caffeinated, works for me!  I had the seasonal gingerbread latte but I definitely prefer the peppermint mocha but I was trying to expand my tastings!  My hubs had the chestnut praline and it was GOOD!

We headed over the Agassinis Arena where Boston University's hockey team plays and picked up some half price light up thingamajiggers outside (next time I'll prebuy lights at Target and save some $) and snapped a quick family selfie before the show started.  I was quite excited to see they served beer at the arena but we refrained until after intermission.  It was a long show basically 2 hours!!

At first they were in awe.  Little B loves Minnie Mouse so she was pumped!

Then the Cars showed up and my R was like "whattttt!!!! Awesome!!!"  He is now officially reobsessed with Cars.

The Little Mermaid was the next fantasy world we visited.  I was cute and but I was fascinated by Eric's hair and Ariels legs/tail?  I think the costume department might could work on that...

Then we visited Pixie Hollow.  Other than TinkerBell all these characters were new to me.  Hello flying fairy!

After intermission, we visited Toy Story.

It was cute but a little long.  Hence...

B was trying to figure out how to make a nap sack.

Apparently I haven't seen Toy Story 3, so I was lost about the plot line.

After the show we treated the littles to pizza at Ottos.

It was pretty good.  I like the old style thin crust and a good Yuengling beer on a cold night!  And the littles like pizza and everyone saying how cute they are so it was a win win!

It was definitely a great family day.  I would totally recommend the Disney on ice IF your kids can sit and watch a movie.  Otherwise, it'll be too long and you will suffer.  Also,  bring snacks to eat during the show because it seems most venues are pretty lax about bringing in food and it'll save you some $$!!  Oh and don't forget to prebuy some light up toy at an affordable place so your kid doesn't sucker you into buying the overpriced bones they sell at the show! It is dark for the duration of the show so it is fun for the kids to have.
