Valentine's Decor

Ever since I've had a house I have slowly been collecting pieces for the different holidays.  And since I have had kids I have gotten more and more into decorating the house for each holiday.  I will admit that this year is definitely the most I've decorated for Valentine's, like ever.

I print out some subway art for every holiday and put it in this frame.  I'm wanting to spray paint it but I'm not sure what color.  Any suggestions?  I got this subway art here.

I have seen little topiary trees everywhere and have really wanted one for my mantel.  I settled for putting it beside the TV till after Valentine's.  I made this one myself instead of paying $30 like all the ones I've seen.

Here's my Valentine's mantel.  I used some of my MIL leftover red mesh from a Christmas present she wrapped for me.  As much as I wanted to put my topiary tree on the mantel I love my roses for the Valentine's romance!  I made this heart doily banner.  I didn't connect them right but I'll fix it next year.

This is my centerpiece on my bar.  I'm not really happy with it but I'll make it better next year!  I got the blocks a couple years ago and they have sayings on 4 sides of the blocks so you can read them on both sides of the bar.  And I must say the candy hearts in the vase smell so good!  I just love to eat them!

  1. Hi! I saw your link on Seven Alive. I really like the idea of the candy hearts in the vase! If you are keeping the subway art out only for Valentine's Day and not reusing the frame for something else I think I would go with a very deep red. Thanks for linking up! Rhondda, Oombawka Design

I love comments! Let me know what your thinking:)
