Healthy Oatmeal Bites

Today we are busy busy busy making our new garden!  I'm so thankful to my super/sweet/amazing hubs for helping me make our fruit and vege garden.  I can't wait to share pictures.

Oatmeal Bites

Last weekend we had some old college buddies in town with their little adorable munchkins and we made some random throw together oatmeal bites.  Let me tell you, they were so yummy!  They didn't get make it all day and they were all gone!  Even the daddies devoured them.

I made another batch yesterday but they were as good, I think they were missing the extra love put in by both boys smashing and tossing! lol

Oatmeal Bites

  • 3 cups of rolled oats/oatmeal
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups Oikos Greek Vanilla yogurt
  • handful coconut
  • handful dried cherries
  • handful dried blueberries
  • handful raisins
  • some chopped pecans (or nuts of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • dash of nutmeg and cinnamon
  • handful of dark chocolate chips

Mix it all together and blob on a cookie sheet.  Cook for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees and done!
