Cheap snow candleholders

I was at the Dollar Store this week looking for some cheap decorations for my Reindeer 5k I'm running this weekend and I happened upon the class vases.  Seriously when I saw them I was thinking sparkles!

So I grabbed three and brought them home with some $1 snow spray that I've never used before.

First I found my Krylon Looking Glass Spray paint in my garage.  Seriously this stuff is awesome, when I first bought it I thought it would make something into a mirror.  No, not so.  It leaves a silver-like shiny finish that is so pretty and unique.

I scratched up in the inside and outside with some sandpaper to help the spray paint adhere to the surface better and then spray the inside and outside with two layers of paint.  You can do more but I was content with the coverage of two layers.

Then I cut out the words "Let it snow" with my Silhouette Cameo machine in vinyl and put them on the outside with some rubber bands.  I wish I put more rubber bands just for more drama.

Then I sprayed the snow spray on the vases.  Once again I sprayed them with two layers which equaled  to bottles of the spray snow because they are so little but I thought they looked cool.  But I still wanted more of a snow effect so I grabbed some of my spray adhesive and poured some white glitter in a paper plate.  I spray the glasses with the adhesive and carefully rolled them in the glitter while keeping the rubber bands in place.

Let them dry for a few hours and then carefully cut the rubber bands off with scissors and take your letters off with a Silhouette peeler.

I want to do some thing else with them but I can't figure out what.  Maybe some greenery coming out of them inside of candles probably.  Let me know if you have any ideas!
