Bar B Cups



This is a recipe I got from my mother in law after trying them at her house.  It's basically meat in a bread cup with cheese on top but I've added a little something to give it some oomph!

All you need is cheddar cheese, uncooked biscuits, green onions, BBQ sauce, and chopped beef or ground beef.  I used chopped beef and my husband was raving about how it was compared to the usual use of ground beef but it works with both.

 


You begin by rolling out the biscuits to flatten and make them larger.


Spray a muffin pan with non stick spray and lay the flattened biscuits on each round.


Mix your chopped beef with some extra BBQ sauce, I used Baby Ray's Sweet Sauce cause it's awesome!  OR if you are using ground beef, cook the beef with a chopped onion in a pan and add the BBQ till coated once the meat is cooked.

Then add the meat to each biscuit round and fit in the pan.


Place in the oven at 350 degrees until the biscuits are cooked, around 15-20 minutes.  Then put some chopped green onions and some shredded cheddar cheese on each biscuit and put back in the oven till the cheese is melted.



I ate mine with some broccoli cheese soup and they were SOOO good!  Easy and meaty, what hubby wouldn't love it and kids love the fun aspect of the meat in a bun!
